- Laws, Rules and Ethics. Beginning March 1, 2007, the Florida Board of Professional Engineers requires all Providers to submit their 4-hour Florida Laws and Rules course for FBPE approval, and no longer accepts any Florida Laws and Rules course that has not been pre-approved. APEX will submit its revised 4 hour Florida Laws and Rules course as soon as the FBPE begins accepting applications.
- Introduction to Project Management Principles with Emphasis on the Project Manager. The key to a successful project is in the planning. Learn practical project management skill that you can apply immediately and earn 4 PDH's for licensure renewal.
- Access Management. This course by Kristine Williams, AICP, provides engineers with an understanding of basic concepts and techniques, planning and engineering principles that guide the practice of access management programs and projects of the Florida Department of Transportation. (4 PDH)
- Fundamental Exam Review Seminar. The Fundamental Exam is the first step toward getting the Professional Engineer license. This is a 33-hour seminar available online for convenient viewing anytime, anywhere from a computer with high speed access. The Spring 2008 edition of this review will also have on campus sessions beginning Wednesday, January 23, 2008 from 6-9:00 PM and is currently accepting registrations.
- Overcurrent Protection Coordination of Distribution Systems. A seminar in Power Electrical Engineering by Ralph Fehr, Ph.D..; filmed live from USF. Participants will be awarded 20 PDH’s and a Certificate upon completion.
- PE Electrical Exam Review Seminar. Licensure is the mark of a professional and a sign of commitment to your profession. This is a 39-hour course in 13 sections, created as the best study and review aid for the PE Exam given twice a year. The course was developed in partnership with the Pinellas Chapter, Florida Engineering Society. Donations from the FE & PE review registration fees have contributed over $30,000 towards engineering scholarships. The Spring 2008 beginning in January will be available online and is currently accepting registrations.
- Power Electrical Engineering series consisting of five topics. Choose an individual course or take the entire seminar at a discounted price.
- Three-Phase Systems and the Per-Unit System (4 PDH)
