The EE Department offers the MSEE and Ph.D. degrees in many advanced areas of study.  Examples of the areas presently offered are Microelectronics;  Wireless and Microwave Systems; Energy, Power, Power Electronics and Control Theory;  Biomedical Systems;  MEMS;  and Nanotechnology.  For the MSEE program specified option tracks are offered in Microelectronics, Wireless and Microwave, Communication and Signal Processing, Energy and Power, and Biomedical Systems.  A joint program with the Industrial and Management Systems Department allows a student to obtain an MSEE with an emphasis in Engineering Management.   For potential students with a BS in Electrical Engineering or a related field, graduate study is a path to:

Requirements to Complete Degree

International students must provide:

 

1- Proof of financial resources and insurance to cover a full year’s expenses.

 

2- English translations of all previous educational transcripts.

 

3- International students must have earned an appropriate undergraduate degree from a reputable institution that is comparable to an accredited undergraduate degree earned in the U.S.

Admissions Procedure

 

Prospective students are judged on performance in the following areas:

Steps Toward Completion of EE Masters of Science Degree (MSEE)

 

· Begin earning credit hours required with guidance from EE graduate coordinator.

 

· Choose an option track.

 

· Prepare and submit a plan of study by the beginning of the second semester.

 

· Execute plan of study.
